Wood Smoked Meats

Sliced Brisket

Corn-fed beef, slow-smoked with our brisket dry rub. Our brisket is trimmed lean, sliced in-house and guaranteed moist.

Chopped Brisket

Corn-fed beef, slow-smoked with our brisket dry rub. Our chopped brisket is extra smokey and cut from the ends of the flat side of the brisket.

Bone-in Chicken

Our bone-in barbecue chicken is house seasoned, hand trimmed and smoked until perfectly moist and juicy. The 1/2 chicken is cut into breast, thigh and drum and glazed with our original BBQ sauce.

Pulled Chicken

Our barbecue chicken is house seasoned, hand trimmed and smoked until perfectly moist and juicy. Our pulled chicken is a mix of hand-pulled dark and breast meat.

Pulled Pork

Farm raised pork, slow smoked and hand pulled.

Carved Turkey

All white meat, seasoned with our poultry rub, & smoked fork tender. Always moist & carved to order. Includes a side of your choice.

Burnt Ends

Burnt Ends are the most tender and flavorful “point” of the brisket. We smoke it till its fall apart tender, cut it into chunks, and then caramelize with our original barbecue sauce! (Not Available on Thursdays)

Ribs

St. Louis spare ribs, meaty and full of flavor. Slow smoked and gently glazed with original sauce.

Back beef ribs, split and slow smoked until just the right amount of pull remains on the rib.

This epic sandwich has sliced brisket, onion rings, melted provolone and sauce on a freshly baked Kaiser bun.

Carolina

Born out of the Carolinas, this sandwich has pulled pork piled high with tangy slaw, finished with our house made vinegar sauce, on a freshly baked bun.

District Z

Lean sliced brisket on Texas Toast, melted American cheese, onion rings topped with our tangy slaw and special District BBQ Sauce.

Texas Q

Chopped brisket piled high on Texas Toast, topped with two onion rings and melted provolone.

Okie Joe

A KC classic, smoked chopped beef and pork drenched in a tangy sauce and served on a fresh baked bun.

Jack Fruit (coming soon)

This completely vegan meat alternative is slow smoked, charred and then mixed with our original barbecue sauce and served on a 100 % vegan bun.

District Burger (Tuesday Special)

Freshly ground short-rib, brisket and chuck beef, set on cool slaw, topped with sliced brisket, American cheese, onion straws and special BBQ aioli on a fresh baked and toasted Kaiser Bun.

St. Louis Ribs

Extra meaty, these pork ribs are rubbed and slow-smoked until just the right amount of bite is left on the bone. They are then lightly glazed with our original barbecue sauce and served hot. Available by the rack, 1/2 rack or by the bone.

Back beef ribs, split and slow smoked until just the right amount of pull remains on the rib.

Full Chicken

Our bone-in barbecue chicken is house seasoned, hand trimmed and smoked until perfectly moist and juicy. Available as a full or 1/2 order, our finger licking good chicken is glazed with our original sauce and cut into breast, thigh and drum servings.

Smoked Wings

Wood-smoked wings, then deep fried and tossed in choice of original, buffalo or loco hot.

Barbecue Chicken Salad

Crisp romaine, iceberg, & greens tossed with our house-made rub, & topped with smoked hand pulled chicken, & finished with our house bbq ranch dressing.

Mandarin "Q" Salad

Slow smoked & hand pulled pork tossed with a house made sesame ginger dressing, mixed with fresh greens, & finished with Mandarin oranges. This Asian specialty tastes as legendary as its name.

A sophisticated salad featuring our fork tender smoked turkey breast, tossed with fresh baby spinach, chopped dates, candied pecans, cranberries, & gorgonzola, then finished with our house made balsamic & blue cheese dressing.ade BBQ ranch & "crunch" topping.

Our fries are no ordinary french fries. We double fry the finest Idaho potatoes and then toss them with a BBQ seasoning that you will die for.

White Chicken Chili

A midwest classic filled with white navy beans, smoked BBQ chicken & a whole lot of goodness.

Texas Toast

Baked fresh every day, our Texas Toast is 3/4 inch thick, buttered and toasted until it's golden brown.

Onion Rings

Prepared to order, these onion rings are crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle with just the right amount of crunch.

Potato Salad

Our potato salad is a family recipe dating back to 1993. Creamy, yellow and tangy but not drowned in mayo, this featured side item will have the whole family talking.

Tangy Slaw

We start with fresh cabbage, chopped in house and blend in our homemade "tangy slaw" mix and special seasoning. A pinch of spice will leave your palette with a touch of kick as you take your last bite.

Mac & Cheese

Our creamy, Vermont sharp white cheddar mac & cheese is the perfect comfort food and compliment to our award winning BBQ. Crafted to meet the standards of both kids and adults alike.

Pickles, Peppers and Onions

No meal is complete without a "kick". Our kosher pickles, jalapeño peppers and sliced onions complete any BBQ catering meal.

This is no ordinary pudding. Made in-house, from scratch every day. Freshly sliced bananas, vanilla wafers and our mom's famous custard, topped with fresh whipped cream, a "Nilla" cookie and caramel drizzle. *loving bananas is not required for complete enjoyment

What is “Food for Good”?

Our Story

District BBQ is the first social enterprise barbecue brand in America. Founded by two brothers born and raised in Kansas City, now living in the Washington, DC Metro, our mission is to use food to empower humanity by donating a portion of our profits to charitable causes.

Our barbecue is inspired by a long lineage of legends like Arthur Bryant’s, Gates, Jack Stack and our former partners at Oklahoma Joe’s. Always dry-rubbed and wood-smoked, our meats, burnt ends, ribs and chicken have just the right amount of bite, with a sweet and savory ending.

Armed service members including police, military and firefighters always receive 10% off and when in-uniform and on-duty we take pride in providing half-off their meals. Our community commitment extends even further, as 10% of our profits are used to advance economic opportunity for low-income families. We take pride in the communities where we serve, and are proud to sponsor local school events, ball teams and community based activities.
